What is inside

Intelligence is the base. Intelligence+ adds three things.

Every Intelligence+ membership starts with the full Crisis Lab Intelligence briefing. Recent editions have run 3,500 to 4,900 words, in written and audio form, and every judgment carries a confidence level.

The Debrief

A one-hour walkthrough of every edition. Where the briefing tells you what we found, the Debrief explains why and what to do about it.

NATO CMDR certification

The NATO Crisis Management and Disaster Response Course, delivered with the NATO CMDR Centre of Excellence in Sofia, Bulgaria. It is the only civilian access to official NATO CMDR certification, and it comes with your membership rather than as a separate purchase.

The member community

A small community built to be multidisciplinary. Emergency managers sit next to public health officials, cyber specialists, and practitioners who run crisis management inside other countries’ systems. The briefing hands you one structural failure, worked out in full; the room hands you five professions’ readings of it. Office hours and executive briefings from NATO, UN, and EU experts run alongside it.

The comparison

Where the price sits.

For $6,490 a year, Intelligence+ delivers 12 months of crisis intelligence, the NATO CMDR certification course, and a member community, with zero days out of the office. Only MIT and Cranfield charge less than that, and each still takes a week.

Program Tuition Days out of office Credential
Harvard Business School, Leadership for Senior Executives $18,500 6 Certificate of Management Excellence
Wharton, The Resilient Leader $10,750 (lodging included) 4 None stated

INSEAD, Crisis Management for Boards (next listed session 2027) $11,450 (€9,800) 5 Programme certificate
Cambridge Judge, Advanced Leadership Programme $38,885 (£28,500 excluding VAT, 19 nights included) 22 Attendance certificate
MIT Professional Education, Crisis Management & Business Resiliency $4,200 5 MIT PE Certificate of Completion, 3.8 CEUs
Cranfield, Risk, Crisis and Resilience $3,070 to $3,411 (£2,250 to £2,500) 7 Accredited option at the higher fee
Crisis Lab Intelligence+ $6,490 a year 0 NATO CMDR certification course included

Tuition figures come from each provider’s own program page, accessed 25 August 2026; the sterling, euro, and Swiss franc fees are converted at Federal Reserve H.10 exchange rates for the week ending 21 August 2026. Days out of office include one travel day each way for programs outside the United States. Flights, and hotels where lodging is not included, sit on top of the tuition shown.

The Debrief

The hour that explains the edition.

The briefing is a document. It carries the assessment, the watch list, the toolkit to run against your own plans, and the reference list, and every judgment in it carries a confidence level. Reading it tells you what we found.

The Debrief is the hour that tells you why. It walks through the findings of each edition and interprets them, with the rationale behind the assessment and what it means going forward.

There is one for every edition, so twice a month, and it is part of Intelligence+ at no extra cost.

Certification

The NATO CMDR certification course.

The NATO Crisis Management and Disaster Response Course is delivered with the NATO CMDR Centre of Excellence in Sofia, Bulgaria, and is the only civilian access to official NATO CMDR certification. It carries 2.2 CEUs.

Standalone, the course costs $850. It is included in Intelligence+, and access unlocks after your first 30 days.

None of the executive programs in the table above carries a NATO certification. Harvard Kennedy School’s Leadership in Crises lists no credential on its page, and Wharton’s The Resilient Leader states none either.

Training budget

Have your employer pay for this.

Unless you run your own practice, this belongs in your training budget. Intelligence is $1,490 a year; Intelligence+, with the NATO CMDR certification course, is $6,490. Both cost less than a single executive-education week, and the return lands on your employer’s side of the table: better decisions from the person they already trust to make them.

You should not have to build the case from a blank page, so we wrote it. The justification kit makes the Intelligence+ case in two pages: what it delivers, what it costs against the executive-education alternatives, and a ready-to-edit approval playbook for carrying the request through your organization. Put your specifics in and make the ask.

What members say.

This is not a technology problem. Two things matched exactly what I’ve seen in the field: assessing reach, and decision reluctance under pressure.
Michael S.
They capture a lot. I love the way they’re structured. The toolkit to me is a really telling and it also tells people what they can be doing.
International Disaster Response Officer
it’s the assumptions piece. That’s scary, right? They assume somebody’s going to take care of it.
Complexity and Resilience Consultant
The findings do make sense although they are shocking and quite painting a dark picture but yes, they are right
